What makes a player worthy of being inducted into the Hall of Fame? With another class of athletes, coaches and journalists freshly inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts, the question of who deserves to get in next always comes up. Conversely, so does the question of who does not.

It is of course important to remember the hoops hall is not the Boston Celtics or NBA Hall of Fame. It encompasses the entire sport worldwide.
