What Keon Coleman said about first 100-yard game of his Bills career

It was nearly capped with an impressive touchdown, but regardless, Buffalo Bills rookie wide receiver had a strong outing against the Tennessee Titans in Week 7.

Coleman had four catches and his first 100-yard receiving game, 125 total, in the 34-10 win.

Despite all eyes being on the recently acquired Amari Cooper, it was Coleman who stole the show.

“He’s a guy that wants the ball,” quarterback Josh Allen said via video conference. “He’s back-side, one-on-one, he wants the ball thrown to him, and he continues to make plays like that for us. It’s hard not to throw it to him.”

Coleman’s 125 yards played well for Allen, too. The QB finished with 323 yards passing.

In Coleman’s mind, he credits his outing to preparation. He complimented offensive coordinator Joe Brady.

“Pretty much everything Joe was calling [worked],” Coleman said. “The different looks we were practicing in practice, we got them in the game, and executed at a high level.”

Cooper’s addition in his own right looks to be paying off for the Bills. The trickle-down effect might continue to pay dividends as well.
