Michigan basketball might have been eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in the Elite Eight, but the Wolverines head coach is being honored for leading the maize and blue to a 23-5 record.

The Associated Press released its award recipients for the 2020-21 season on Thursday and Michigan head coach Juwan Howard won AP coach of the year to go along with his already announced Big Ten coach of the year honors.

The AP hosted a press conference via Zoom shortly after the announcement, and Howard shared his thoughts on the award as well as the season with those in the media.
