Boston Celtics superstar Jaylen Brown will start the season with an 89 overall player rating in NBA 2K24, the latest edition of the hit basketball video game. His teammate, Jayson Tatum, is a 95 overall, one of the highest ratings in the game. Either of these ratings could change throughout the year depending on how the two perform on the court.
NBA 2K24 is set to launch in September, the most recent iteration of an important corner in basketball culture. Player ratings in particular have become a talking point in and of themselves, with fans and players weighing in across social media. This season Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is the highest rated player in the game, while some of the other top player ratings in NBA 2K24 caused a bit of a stir when they were released earlier this season.
Brown entered last season rated an 87 overall in the previous version the game. The Georgia native wasn’t too pleased at the time, posting on social media about his displeasure. This time around, though, he may have more on his mind.
