After weeks of waiting and wishing, the Boston Celtics and star forward Jaylen Brown finally came to terms on a five-year, $304 million supermax contract extension to avoid free agency next offseason. The contract is the largest so far in NBA history, and with it, Brown plans to give back to the community, including helping promote black businesses and bring Black Wall Street to the city of Boston.
On top of Brown’s plans to do good with his wealth in the city of Boston, the Celtics also gave some updates on Derrick White’s role and the precarious situation with Malcolm Brogdon following the almost-trade to the Los Angeles Clippers. What happens next after the Celtics signed Jaylen Brown?
Join hosts Tim Sheils and Wayne “Breezie” Brown as they discuss on the CLNS Media “Vitamin Cs” podcast embedded below.
