Kaj Sanders is set to announce his college commitment on July 8 with one of the top recruits in New Jersey set to shut things down.
A four-star defensive back from Bergen Catholic (Oradell, N.J.), Sanders is a top five player in the state according to Rivals. He also was recently bumped to being a four-star by Rivals; he is also a four-star per On3.
In mid-June, the class of 2024 athlete took an official visit to Rutgers.
A source close to the situation said that North Carolina, Rutgers, South Carolina and Wisconsin are the final four to make the cutdown for Sanders.
His announcement comes one day prior to that of Nyier Daniels, a four-star offensive lineman who has his own impressive final four that includes Florida State, Georgia, Rutgers and Texas.
The most recent recruiting update from Sanders came in mid-May when he announced a top 10.
I would like to thank all the coaches that have extended scholarship offers to me. I’m blessed and grateful always. With that being said these are the main 10 schools I will be focusing on. @bccoachvito @RivalsFriedman @RivalsRichie @BrianDohn247 @ShawnB_247 @TodderickHunt pic.twitter.com/2julj8tSXP
