What does the Svi Mykhailiuk signing do for the Boston Celtics?

While Mykhailiuk may not be known for as a lockdown defender, he is better on that end of the floor than he gets credit, and his offensive skill set and size make him a valuable player for the team.

The Boston Celtics made a significant move by signing Ukrainian wing Svi Mykhailiuk to a one-year deal for the upcoming NBA season.

Mykhailiuk is known for his impressive 3-point shooting, passing and ball-handling. He is expected to provide valuable depth off the bench for the Celtics as they build depth for a run at the league’s 2024 title.

While Mykhailiuk may not be known as a lockdown defender, he is better on that end of the floor than credited. His offensive skill set and size make him valuable.

Celtics fans are eager to see how Mykhailiuk’s addition will affect the team’s performance this season, and the hosts of the CLNS Media “First to the Floor” podcast convened for an emergency pod to talk over the unexpected signing.
