What are PGA Tour pros doing this off-season? We asked a few and here are their responses. Davis Love III: “I have three granddaughters I want to spend time with. Dru and I are going duck hunting and snowboarding, and I’m going to Dallas to work with CBS the first week in December.” Charles Howell III: “I’m just looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. I’ve spent the last nine weeks in a row on the road. I’m not complaining because our job is what is most people’s retirement, but I’m just ready to be home.” Chesson Hadley: “Playing Daddy Daycare while my wife takes a girls’ trip to New York City. The kids have been looking forward to having me around all year. My wife and I are also going on our own trip to Grove Inn Park in Asheville, N.C.” Jim Furyk: “We’re going on a South African safari. Never been. I can’t wait.” Brendan Steele: “I’ve got to get four wisdom teeth out.” Russell Knox: “In previous years I’ve been exhausted and felt like I hated golf. This year, I’ll take a little break and then try to get better by fine-tuning my equipment and working hard.”
