What an all-Wisconsin Badger NFL offensive starting lineup would look like

The rosters of all 32 NFL teams are starting to round into form as we await the return of football to our day-to-day lives. There aren’t…

Running backs: Melvin Gordon, Jonathan Taylor and James White

I decided to go three-deep here because all successful NFL teams have multiple guys they use out of the backfield.

The workhorse would most likely be Melvin Gordon, with Jonathan Taylor brought along slowly as he adapts to the NFL and James White used primarily in third down and passing situations.

This backfield tandem would be a lethal one and would represent 5359 NFL rushing yards, 4682 receiving yards and 79 total touchdowns–those numbers obviously coming from only Gordon and White with Taylor’s record-breaking production thus far all coming at the college level.

Wilson at quarterback and these weapons in the backfield would give opposing defenses fits, especially with the top-end offensive line I will outline later.

Up next are the receiving options.
