There wasn’t an Alabama/A&M level of upset this weekend. Shocking, I know.
But there were a couple of smaller upsets within the SEC that solidified some things moving forward. Auburn handed Arkansas their third straight loss, putting the Razorbacks at dead last in the SEC West. LSU gave Florida its third loss of the season pushing the Gators back to fourth in the SEC East and virtually eliminating them from the title hunt. Georgia didn’t clinch the SEC East, but essentially did so with a win over Kentucky. Tennessee losing to Ole Miss was an upset in the eye of ESPN’s FPI (UT has a 54% chance to win), but the Rebels kept themselves in the West race.
Here are the updated SEC power rankings after week seven.
