The Mountain West had a wild week and it all started when Wyoming hosted Air Force and got the upset win on Friday night. The Falcons were our number one team last week and looked to be the best in the conference, but the Cowboys seemingly have turned the corner after the Illinois loss and the passing game has improved.
Fresno State got destroyed against USC, UNLV put up another 50-plus points, San Diego State’s offense stalled vs. Utah, and Boise State won but looked mortal against UT-Martin.

The league is going to be interesting, frustrating, and close for the entire year. There will be a lot of movement and some may not really occur until conference play when we get head-to-head matchups.
Also, who would have thought that New Mexico and UNLV would each be 2-1 in non-conference play so far?
