A great long standing college football tradition over the years has been turning on the TV in the morning and getting ready for all the big games. That is certainly not going to change in 2024, as the season gets started in full force this weekend. Sure, there are games on Thursday and Friday, but Saturday is the big day. Both ESPN Game Day and Fox Big Noon Kickoff are in locations ready to fire up the crowds.
The ESPN Game Day crew of Rece Davis, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Pat Thamel, and others will be part of the show. They will take their talents to College Station Texas, home of the Texas A&M Aggies, who host No. 7 Notre Dame. Game Day will run from 9 am ET through noon.
These two teams have not met a whole lot in history. This is just the sixth time.

When you flip the channel over to FOX, they will be getting fans ready for the West Virginia Mountaineers and Penn State Nittany Lions. These two teams are familiar with each other, despite one being in the Big 12 and the other in the Big 10. The fans in Morgantown are starving for an upset, while James Franklin has his team in the Top 10 to start the season.
Morgantown, we heard you like to party 🤔 Thought we'd come see for ourselves…@WVUfootball fans, LET'S GET IT! 🔥🎉 pic.twitter.com/Td3sLV1FDC
