On Tuesday, the Alabama football twitter account released a video of Nick Saban sharing advice regarding the coronavirus.

Saban starts the video by thanking the medical professionals and caregivers who have literally put their lives on the lines to help keep everyone safe.
He also shares how he and the other coaches are working hard from home, while making sure the players and staff are healthy and safe.
Saban shares how important it is for everyone to follow these guidelines:
“Please wash your hands often. Stay at home if at all possible. And when you have to be out in public, make sure you keep six feet between you and the nearest person.”
But in Saban style, he made sure to bring up college football, a topic of conversation that has been brought up a lot.
Within the past few weeks, the NCAA and SEC have had to cancel the remaining spring sports’ seasons, games, championships, pro days and in person visits.
The NFL even made a change to the 2020 Draft. The Draft will still go on, but without fans in attendance.
Many fans have worried about what this means for football season. Although the future is unclear, Saban made it clear to remind people to be personally responsible now, in order to regain a more normal life in the future.
“We are in this together. And as one team, we will get through these difficult times. And together, we look forward to all that’s to come.. like the opportunity to play college football this fall. But the best and safest way to ensure that happens, is to listen to the experts, follow their guidelines, and take care of each other. Stay safe and Roll Tide!”
If there’s one person who can get people motivated to follow guidelines, it’s Nick Saban.
After all, he’s right. If there’s any chance of getting to watch college football this fall, we have to do our part, now.
