The latest offer from Rutgers football went out over the weekend to Zion Tracy following his performance at camp. Tracy showcased a strong skillset in the camp setting, leading to an offer from the Big Ten program.
He worked out at the camp as a defensive back, a position he played last season as a junior.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound athlete is coming off a strong season at Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.). As a wide receiver, he had 20 catches for 472 yards and four receiving touchdowns.
As a defensive back, he had 18 total tackles and two passes defended in seven games. The Crusaders finished 8-2 last season.

It has been a very busy July for Rutgers football, with a total of nine commitments coming in this month.

Since official visits this past weekend, Rutgers has pulled in five commitments. All of the committed players from this group are from New Jersey.
