The Wisconsin Badgers will face off against the Liberty Flames in the second round of the NIT on Sunday, and Wisconsin HC Greg Gard has been on campus trying to pack the stands for the matchup.
Gard handed out tickets to students at the Gordon Avenue Market on Friday and Saturday, which is across the street from the Kohl Center. This game is on the last day of Wisconsin’s spring break, so hopefully, the free tickets can help entice a large student turnout.
The Badgers were able to beat the Bradley Braves in the opening round of the NIT and will play against either Oregon or UCF in the quarterfinals if they are able to get past Liberty.
Coach Gard wants to make sure you can be at the game Sunday, @AreaRED! 🎟️@UWMadison students, visit Gordon Commons TODAY at 12:30pm! Coach Gard will have another round of FREE TICKETS for Sunday! pic.twitter.com/oKWhuM5BtQ
