What has been behind the Boston Celtics’ current winning ways? With much speculation regarding what has fueled the team’s NBA-longest eight-game winning streak circulating through the NBA media, fans and analysts alike are looking to see what’s been driving Boston’s surprising resurgence in the second half of the 2021-22 NBA season.

Shortening the rotation, condensing talent into fewer players, seeing the level of difficulty of the teams the Celtics have been playing in recent games are all examples of how things may have gotten more favorable for Boston over the course of the last several weeks, as well as better play and clearer roles for each of the players who are getting burn under head coach Ime Udoka.

One of the hosts of the ESPN show “NBA Today,” Richard Jefferson, recently dug into the data behind Boston’s league-best streak, and had plenty to say about what’s been driving Celtics success of late.
