The 2023 Seahawks are a good team, but based on how they have performed against the best teams they’ve faced, they’re definitely not a great one. Thursday night’s loss to the 49ers was more evidence that they still have some miles to journey in order to catch up with the true contenders around the NFL. As to how they get there, no consensus has formed as of yet. After it was over, Pete Carroll didn’t seem to have an answer for how to bridge that gap with the Niners.
