WATCH: What do the Boston Celtics and Dennis Schroder owe each other?

If things go right on both sides, it could prove a very fruitful partnership.

The Boston Celtics and veteran point guard Dennis Schroder have a unique opportunity that could go very well for all involved so long as the Celtics hold up their end of the bargain by giving the German floor general as much run as he needs to re-establish his value, and Schroder plays within the broader team scheme Boston needs him to.

The Celtics and Schroder both need to fulfill their obligations to one another to make their short-term partnership click, but what will that actually look like on the court and in the locker room this season? It’s easy enough to draw a rough outline of how it might come together, but what would it actually entail?

John Karalis, host of the “Locked on Celtics” podcast, gives us all a deep dive into what could prove an important question to the Celtics’ 2021-22 season, and perhaps even more so for the future of Schroder’s career.

Give the video embedded above a listen or a watch to hear his perspective on how German Rondo and Boston can maximize what will almost certainly be a one-season alliance – or less.
