For months, Boston Celtics fans have looked overseas to the Israeli Premier Basketball League to watch the slow but steady progress of 2020 NBA draft stashed point guard prospect Yam Madar, who has become a well-rounded floor general with his team Hapoel Tel Aviv.
Having improved his 3-point shooting from 26.7% to 40.6% and improved his counting stats from 10.06 points, 2.41 rebounds, 3.38 assists and a steal per game to 16.51 points, 2.86 boards, 5.14 assists and 1.23 steals per contest in just one season, Madar became the youngest player in the Israeli Premier Basketball League’s history to win its Most Improved Player award.
With Madar planning to join the Boston Celtics in Las Vegas Summer League, our favorite Celtics YouTube chronicler Tomasz Kordylewski put together a scouting video to let fans know what they can expect of the Beit Dagan native.

Embedded above, give it a watch to get up to speed on what Madar beings to Vegas and the Celtics.
