Following a 15-2 start to the season, the Golden State Warriors continue to get positive news around the team. After missing two seasons with an ACL and Achilles injury, Klay Thompson seems to be nearing a long-awaited return to Steve Kerr’s rotation.
Along with scrimmaging, the guard has reportedly been cleared to fully return to practices with the Warriors. Despite the end of his long rehab coming to a close, Thompson is still holding on to one grudge.
When the NBA announced the 76 player list for their 75th-anniversary team, Thompson was one of the players left on the outside looking in. Thompson initially took issue with being snubbed from the list, posting multiple responses on social media.
Along with tweets and posts on Instagram, Thompson unveiled a custom No. 77 Warriors practice jersey as an ode to being left off the anniversary team. Although it’s been a month since the NBA 75 list was announced, the three-time NBA champion is still rocking his No. 77 jersey.
At practice on Tuesday, Thompson was spotted going through drills while wearing his No. 77 jersey.

When he makes his highly-anticipated return to the floor, it won’t be a surprise if Thompson has a chip on his shoulder due to being left on the list.
