Watch: Warriors’ Jordan Poole caps fiery performance against Heat with emphatic dunk in closing minutes

To cap his fiery 32-point performance against the Heat, Jordan Poole flew to the bucket for an emphatic dunk in the closing minutes on Monday.

With the Miami Heat in town, it was the Jordan Poole show on Monday at San Francisco’s Chase Center.

The third-year guard caught fire in a new role in Steve Kerr’s second unit against Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry and the Heat. With Steph Curry slumping, Poole’s performance came at the perfect time for the Warriors’ offense on Monday night.

In only his second game since returning from the league’s health and safety protocol, Poole scored a game-high 32 points on an efficient 12-of-17 shooting from the floor with five assists and two boards in only 26 minutes off the bench. Poole dropped in five triples on nine attempts from long distance against the Heat.

To end his red-hot run against the Heat, Poole put an exclamation point on his night with an emphatic dunk in the closing minutes of the contest.

After Draymond Green denied Omer Yurtseven at the rim on defense, Poole added to the sequence with a dunk on the other end. The Michigan product blew past Lowry to finish an explosive one-handed slam at the rim.
