Riding a tough six-game losing streak, the Golden State Warriors desperately needed a spark to get back in the win column on Monday night against the Houston Rockets.
Along with sharp shooting from Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins early, Jonathan Kuminga helped answer the bell with a high-flying dunk to provide some juice against the Rockets.
On a fast break in the first quarter, Kuminga blew by most of Houston’s defense on his way to the rim. The young forward exploded to the bucket for an emphatic jam.
Kuminga took a tough hit on the landing, falling on his tailbone and lower back. However, Kuminga never left the game for an extended period and looked alright.
