WATCH: Tua Tagovailoa enters Dolphins facility, reports to training camp

Former Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa is seen entering the Miami Dolphins facility and reporting to training camp.

Former Alabama star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was selected with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins. Though, he was considered early on as the favorite to go No. 1 overall, injuries hindered his junior season at Alabama and were considered a cause for some concern to NFL teams that could not examine the quarterback in person, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The ongoing pandemic put a pause an all major sports in the United States, and though the NFL was in the offseason, stopped the players and personnel’s ability to work at the franchise’s facilities.

In a video posted by the Miami Dolphins to their social media accounts, Tagovailoa can be seen enter the facility with a mask on, but no crutches, brace or any issues walking on his own.

Local sports reporter for WPLG in Miami, Will Manso, cropped the video to get a closer look at Tua.

Having Tagovailoa in the facility with coaches and personnel is crucial to assessing where he stands with his health and rehabilitation.

Last week, the 2018 Heisman finalist told USA Today that he was “ready to go” and claimed he’s healthy and wanting to play.
