WATCH: Travis Kelce scores Chiefs’ first points of Super Bowl LVII

#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce got the scoring started for Kansas City in Super Bowl LVII with an 18-yard touchdown reception.

The Super Bowl is nicknamed the Kelce Bowl and for good reason.

Jason Kelce paved the way for a QB sneak on the Eagles’ opening touchdown drive. His brother, Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, had to match him with his own score on the ensuing possession by Kansas City.

The Chiefs put together a six-play scoring drive on their first offensive possession of the game. Travis caught a 20-yard pass on the second play of the drive and he capped it off with an 18-yard touchdown reception. Sure, enough Kelce was working in motion, from the slot. That’s where the Eagles allowed a whopping 100.2 yards per game during the 2022 NFL season and it’s one of their only clear weaknesses on the defensive side of the ball.

If the Chiefs can continue attacking the Eagles’ defense with Kelce in that way, it’s going to end up being a long game for Philadelphia and a fruitful game for the younger Kelce brother.
