Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has a spot in the latest advertisement for the upcoming “Ghostbusters: Afterlife.”
The newest installment in the franchise stars Chiefs superfan, Paul Rudd. Kelce shared a short thirty-second commercial on Monday where he’s pictured speaking with Rudd via Facetime, discussing a recent trade between the two. Kelce sent Rudd a signed football and in return, he received one of the Ghostbusters iconic proton packs. The All-Pro Chiefs star hilariously attempts to use the device while Rudd is negotiating a way to get it back.
A trade is a trade, #PaulRudd. Just be careful with that @TKelce ⚡ 👀 Get tickets now to see #Ghostbusters: Afterlife in theaters this Thursday. https://t.co/5vFaDshsC2 pic.twitter.com/TOfZlRFQPf

Thankfully, Kelce only got one proton pack. He can do enough damage with the one and we all know what happens when you cross the beams.
Both Kelce and Rudd are on a bit of a roll lately when it comes to accomplishments. Kelce’s first reception on Sunday night vs. the Raiders gave him a reception in 120 consecutive games. That’s good for the second-longest streak in Chiefs franchise history and is the fourth-longest active streak in the NFL. Rudd was recently named People magazine’s sexiest man alive. He also, of course, stars in the “Ghostbusters: Afterlife” which opens in theaters nationwide on Thursday night.
