Watch: Top-3 QB prospect thinks he’d fit well with Panthers, Joe Brady offense

One of them is Zach Wilson from BYU, who thinks he would be a good fit in Joe Brady’s offense.

Teddy Bridgewater is a great guy by all accounts. Sadly, he underperformed in 2020 and the Carolina Panthers should be in the market for a new potential franchise quarterback this year.

The best place to find him will be in the draft, where there are four high-end prospects who could fill that role. One of them is Zach Wilson from BYU, who thinks he would be a good fit in Joe Brady’s offense. Watch (6:08).

Of course, there’s no guarantee Brady will be back with the Panthers next season. He’s interviewing with the Falcons, Texans and Chargers for their open head coach positions.

Wilson might also be out of reach, as there are a few other teams who also need a new QB that are picking ahead of Carolina.

The Jaguars and Jets will likely be selecting Clemson’s Trevor Lawrence and Ohio State’s Justin Fields with the top two picks in the draft. Wilson is the next-best quarterback in this year’s class. There’s a chance Atlanta takes him, banking on Wilson to replace the 35-year old Matt Ryan. Detroit is in a similar situation with Matt Stafford, who is 32.

Stafford and Ryan are both still pretty good at what they do, though. If the Falcons and Lions pass on Wilson he could land in the Panthers’ lap. If he doesn’t, Trey Lance of North Dakota State is also worth considering.
