Watch: Tom Brady shares a moment with Drew Brees and his family after Sunday’s game

The two quarterbacks spent a long time together on the Superdome turf after Sunday’s tilt, with Tom Brady even slinging one more pass.

Prior to kickoff between the New Orleans Saints and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, FOX’s Jay Glazer reported that quarterback Drew Brees would be retiring at the end of the season. With the Saints losing to the Buccaneers on Sunday night this might have been Brees’ last time in uniform. The images of him walking down the tunnel, taking one last look at the field, certainly give that creedence.

Brees then spent a long time on the Superdome turn with his family when they were joined by another veteran quarterback, Tom Brady. NFL Network’s James Palmer caught the moment on film, which included an extended discussion between the two QBs, a touchdown throw from Brady to one of Brees’ sons, and a hug between the Buccaneers quarterback and Brittany Brees:

Brees said after the game that he would take some time and make a decision about his future, just like he did a summer ago. But if this was his final moments on the Superdome turf, he got to share it with his family and another of the game’s greats.
