The Denver Broncos used the 15th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft on Thursday evening to select Alabama wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
The Broncos’ social media team posted a video on Twitter of general manager John Elway and coach Vic Fangio talking to Jeudy on the phone after selecting him in the draft.
“Jerry, John Elway, congratulations,” Elway says in the video. “You’re going to be a Bronco, we’re looking forward to it. We were hoping you’d make it to us and you did. We’re thrilled with it, glad you’re going to be a Bronco and have a great career with us.”
Elway tweeted on Thursday evening that Jeudy was the No. 1 WR on their draft board. Denver landing Jeudy without having to trade up earned an “A” grade from Broncos Wire (you can give your grade here).
The Broncos are scheduled to make four picks on Day 2 of the draft.
