WATCH: The best of Payton Pritchard’s 2020-21 season with the Celtics

Check out the top highlights from Payton Pritchard during the 2020-21 season with the Boston Celtics.

Joining rookie Aaron Nesmith as a first-round pick (No. 14) by Boston in last year’s NBA draft, Oregon’s Payton Pritchard was selected with the 26th pick.

Pritchard came to Boston as a four-year college player who could step right in and contribute with his combo-guard skills and lengthy college experience.

That’s exactly what the Oregon Duck did.

In 66 games for the Celtics this season, Pritchard averaged 7.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.8 assists while shooting 41% from 3-point range.

With such a depleted bench throughout the season due to injuries and COVID-19, Pritchard stepped in and played a big role for the Celtics, averaging over 19 minutes per game.

Pritchard scored a season- and career-high 28 points on April 27 against the Oklahoma City Thunder, shooting 9-of-16 from the floor.
