Texas football is nearing the conclusion of spring practices.
On April 24, the Longhorns will hold their annual Orange-White spring game. It’s the first chance for fans to see how the players operate under first-year head coach Steve Sarkisian and his staff.
The primary storyline to watch will be the intense quarterback battle between Hudson Card and Casey Thompson. While many thought Thompson had a foot in the door to win the starting role, Card has seemingly made up ground over the last few weeks.
Throughout the slew of spring practices under Sarkisian, Texas’ social media department has released a variety of videos that showcase the intensity of each practice and/or highlights from the day.
Take a look at a few clips from the Longhorns second scrimmage:

Running back Bijan Robinson and wide receivers Kelvontay Dixon, Marcus Washington and Jordan Whittington were all featured in the short clip.
The energy and intensity of each practice appears to be heightened compared to previous years, therefore the Orange-White game on April 24 should be electric.
