Many are anxiously awaiting the debut of consensus five-star recruit Greg Brown. The 6-foot-9, 205-pound athlete was considered one of the best power forwards in the 2020 recruiting class and is expected to make an immediate impact in the frontcourt rotation.
The addition of Brown helped bump Texas up in the preseason rankings, where they currently sit at No. 19 in the AP Top 25 Poll. Baylor, Kansas, Texas Tech and West Virginia were the only other Big 12 programs ranked ahead of the Longhorns.
If that’s not enough to get you excited for this college basketball season, the hype video released by Texas today certainly will.

Head coach Shaka Smart is entering his sixth year with the Longhorns. He will need to rely heavily on Brown, Matt Coleman, Courtney Ramey and Andrew Jones if they hope to compete for the Big 12 title this season.
