If you weren’t already excited enough for Texas’ conference opener at Texas Tech on Saturday, this will surely get your blood pumping.
The Longhorns are traveling to Lubbock to face the Red Raiders on Sept. 26 at 2:30 p.m. CDT. After a dominant win over the UTEP Miners two weeks ago, Texas is hoping to solidify their expectations against a conference opponent.
Playing on the road — especially during a nationwide pandemic — isn’t an easy task. Their daily processes may look much different than previous years, but their overall goal remains the same.
Texas released a one-minute hype video on Friday detailing the preparation for their first road game along with highlights from their season opener.

The Longhorns are currently projected to win by more than two touchdowns. Each team enters the contest with an undefeated record, but their outcomes couldn’t be more opposite.
While Texas handled UTEP by a score of 59-3, Texas Tech barely squeaked by Houston Baptist 35-33. The Red Raiders gave up 567 passing yards in the process, while Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger threw for 426 yards in one half.
