The nation’s top prospect in the class of 2023 is officially a Texas Longhorn. Arch Manning was one of the first Longhorns to sign his letter of intent on Wednesday.
The five-star is the leader of the Texas 2023 class, which is heading for a top-five finish in the 247Sports’ team recruiting rankings.
Manning enjoyed an outstanding senior season at Isidore Newman High School. He passed up his uncles, Peyton and Eli, as the all-time passing yards and touchdown leader at Newman High School.
Manning is going to get a head start on his collegiate career as he is set to enroll early at Texas. He joins Quinn Ewers and Maailk Murphy in an uber-talented quarterback room.
Steve Sarkisian spoke on his newest quarterback and what stands out the most about his game with Longhorn Network.
"His name is his name. But if you remove the last name off of him and you just really look at the player and the way he goes about his business, that should tell you the type of work ethic that he has, the drive to be great."@CoachSark tells @SpanningTheLoeb about Arch Manning pic.twitter.com/J1UTLDRIHg
