Texas A&M star freshman wide receiver/cornerback Terry Bussey, who also serves as the team’s primary punt and kick returner, scored his first touchdown with the program in the fourth quarter of the Aggies’ week 2 home matchup vs. McNeese State.
Bussey, who was poised to receive more snaps on offense after only appearing 12 times during the opening season loss to Notre Dame, continued to see the field on several jet sweep attempts, with his final touch going to the house as the prolific high school player showed off his wheels for a 65-yard score.
Bussey’s high-profile recruiting prowess as a versatile athlete on offense and defense, possessing the skillset to play at both wide receiver and cornerback at the college level, will hopefully lead to more touches on both sides of the ball this season.
