With receiver Randall Cobb questionable to return, the opportunity for Keke Coutee to showcase his abilities in the slot came alive.
On second-and-goal from the 6-yard line, Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson dropped back and surveyed the field. Coutee came open in the back end of the right side of the end zone and caught his first touchdown pass since 2018.
The scoring grab also put the Texans up 21-10 over the New England Patriots with the extra point. The touchdown also put a dent in New England’s plans to have a double-double as there was just 10 seconds remaining until halftime.
