Steph Curry was miked up during the Golden State Warriors‘ loss to the Denver Nuggets on Christmas Day. Before the game, the veteran superstar could be heard discussing how he would like to meet the person behind the camera because he believes being followed around throughout the game is a personal experience.
Curry’s comments came before his team fell to the Nuggets, courtesy of an 18 free-throw performance from Nikola Jokic that sparked fierce debate regarding the number of fouls called during the game. Still, Curry’s moment before the contest was seen as a funny anecdote that was widely shared across social media.
The Warriors star has been playing at an elite level to begin the season. In 28 games, he’s averaging 27.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists, shooting 46.5% from the field and 41.4% from 3-point range.
