Through three quarters in Houston, Stephen Curry was fairly quiet for his standards. However, the All-Star point guard still had a signature “Curry Flurry” in his back pocket for the Rockets on Sunday night.
With the game tightening, Curry unloaded a barrage of late triples to help the Warriors seal their second straight win on the road. Curry ripped off four consecutive made 3-pointers on four straight possessions.
While Curry was heating up, familiar foe Dillon Brooks attempted to guard Golden State’s sharpshooter. Curry made the new Rockets wing look silly with a crafty crossover and pump fake that led to an open look from deep.
Curry hit Brooks with a behind the back crossover that sent the former Memphis Grizzlies wing out of the picture. While trying to recover, Brooks attempted a big block that Curry saw coming. Following a smooth pump fake, Curry easily splashed another triple. After his highlight-reel jumper, Curry had a must see reaction to his shot while getting back on defense.
