Before officially starting the Summer Olympics Games at the end of July, Team USA has five exhibition showcase games on the schedule as they prepare to make a run in Paris.
After cruising past Canada in Las Vegas, Team USA was tested by Australia on Monday in Abu Dhabi. After a scoreless first quarter on Monday, Stephen Curry got going with a long 3-pointer in the second half. Curry’s long jumper helped extend Team USA’s lead to double figures in the second quarter.

Although Team USA secured a 98-92 win over Australia, Curry had a quiet performance while uncharacteristically struggling to shoot the ball. Curry finished with only three points on 1-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
Curry and Team USA will meet Serbia in another showcase game on Wednesday in Abu Dhabi.
