Despite their ice-cold open against South Sudan, Team USA began to mount a comeback late. Stephen Curry provided a park for Team USA with one of his signature long-distance triple before the start of the fourth quarter.

With time dwindling away in the third quarter, Team USA avoided a near-disaster turnover with the help of Curry. After securing the ball, Curry fired a shot from deep that set the O2 Arena in London into a frenzy along with giving Team USA a much-needed 3-point lead.
