Boston Celtics 2020 NBA draft stashed point guard Yam Madar had another solid outing on Saturday in the Israeli Premier Basketball League, and while it wasn’t enough to get his team — Hapoel Tel Aviv — the win over Ironi Nahariya, it was another in a long string of solid performances that hint the Beit Dagan native might be ready to make the jump to the NBA next season.
Of course, he’ll have to resolve his ongoing contract dispute with Hapoel Tel Aviv. But in the meantime, if even his “down” games have stat lines like the 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists he hung on Ironi Nahariya in 32 minutes of floor time, he may well have the Celtics brass interested in bringing him over sooner than later as well.
Watch the video embedded below of the best of his play from this past Saturday in the clip put together by YouTuber Bllen.
