Stashed Boston Celtics shooting guard Juhann Begarin did not play well enough in this year’s Las Vegas Summer League action to earn himself a slot with the Celtics this season, but instead signed on to play for France’s Paris Basketball of the LNB Pro A league in that country to continue honing his craft.
And the Les Abymes native has had several impressive games with Paris Basketball already, most recently in an 82 – 79 win over LDLC Asvel. The former No. 45 pick of the 2021 NBA draft scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and an assist in 24 minutes of floor time, shooting 5-of-9 from the floor, 1-of-2 from beyond the arc and 4-of-6 from the charity stripe.
If you want to get a look at how the Celtics’ stashed French wing is shaping up in Europe, or just need a break from watching the players on Boston’s roster for a hot second, watch the video embedded below, provided via fan videographer Tomasz Kordylewski.
