Watch: Sean McVay gives victory speech in Rams’ locker room, calls Matthew Stafford a legend

Sean McVay handed out game balls and gave a great victory speech in the locker room, calling Matthew Stafford a “(expletive) legend”

The Los Angeles Rams came into Week 11 in danger of losing their fourth straight game and falling further behind in the NFC playoff race. And after the first few drives against the Seahawks, things looked, well, bleak.

But after despite falling behind 13-0, the Rams battled back and pulled out a come-from-behind victory at home to improve their record to 4-6. It wasn’t a great performance by the offense and Cooper Kupp suffered an ankle injury, but a win’s a win.

Sean McVay was thrilled to see the team’s three-game losing streak snapped, getting back in the win column and pulling a game closer to Seattle in the division. After the win, McVay gave a speech to the team in the locker room, handed out game balls to several players and called Matthew Stafford a “(expletive) legend.”

He was fired up, to say the least.

“It wasn’t looking pretty, but just kept battling, making throw after throw,” McVay said. “Being able to get us in and out of the right stuff. We talk about (expletive) competitive greatness, being your best when your best is required. Capitalizing on the (expletive) moment. Adding to the (expletive) legend that he already is right here. Matthew Stafford.”

Check out the full speech below, with the defensive captains and Lucas Havrisik also receiving game balls.
