New York Giants running back, and former Penn State standout, Saquon Barkley continue to be going through a rehab process after tearing his knee early in the 2020 NFL season. While Penn State is winding down spring football practice, the former Nittany Lion has shown a little glimpse into the kind of exercises he is working through to be ready for the 2021 NFL season.
Barkley took to Twitter to share a message to encourage his fans he is ready for a big bounce back on the football field in 2021. But what we didn’t see last week was video footage of him showing off his footwork and leg exercises. As you can imagine, Barkley continues to be an absolute beast as is working his way back to full strength.

Obviously, it is one thing to be able to go through workouts and rehab and feel good and putting your muscles through the rigors of actual football activity. By the time training camp rolls around for the Giants, we’ll all hope to see Barkley try to pass his final tests before being cleared to go for the upcoming NFL season.
Barkley has rushed for 2,344 yards and 17 touchdowns in his first three seasons in the NFL, in a total of 31 games.
