WATCH: Robert Williams III scores 1st career triple-double vs. Suns with 10 points, 11 boards, 10 assists

His 10 assists are also a career-high.

The Boston Celtics have never lost a game that starting big man Robert Williams III has doled out at least five assists, and in his first career triple-double — also a career-high in assists — in a New Year’s Eve game against the then-NBA best Phoenix Suns, that trend remained constant on Friday night.

Timelord put up a staggeringly impressive stat line in the 123 – 108 win he helped secure at TD Garden, logging 10 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists, 2 steals, and 5 blocks in 35 minutes of playing time without missing a shot, turning the ball over 3 times and fouling just 2 times in a huge win for Boston at the end of the year.

Hopefully, the Celtics can carry this momentum into 2022 and start racking up some much-needed wins behind more, similar performances from Williams.
