The New England Patriots entered Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills with nothing to lose. That made them dangerous in the early going with Drake Maye delivering a deep touchdown pass and running back Rhamondre Stevenson following it up with a bruising touchdown run.
Stevenson powered his way through tackles and rumbled into the end zone from 14 yards out for the score. The drive itself took nine plays, 91 yards and 9:57 off the clock. It was Stevenson’s seventh rushing touchdown of the season.
The Patriots have struggled to get the ground game going consistently this season. So Stevenson coming away with six points on the ground was a huge win for the offense.

The Bills would respond on their ensuing drive to make a 14-7 game. Nevertheless, Stevenson’s physicality helped New England score their second touchdown in as many drives and make a statement early.
