WATCH: Patriots CB Kyle Dugger picks off Tua Tagovailoa in first quarter

Kyle Dugger grabbed his first interception of the season against the Dolphins.

The New England Patriots defense will need a big day if they want to contain the Miami Dolphins potent offense, and they did so early in the game, courtesy of an interception by Kyle Dugger.

Dugger was able to pick off a route intended for Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill. He was also able to run a little bit after the catch and put the Patriots in good field position.

It was Dugger’s first interception of the season, and it was also New England’s fifth takeaway of the year. Mac Jones was able to find Kendrick Bourne for a touchdown on the ensuing drive.

This game has the potential to turn into an offensive shootout, but the defenses on both sides might have something to say about it.
