Watch: Panthers WR Robby Anderson lets out frustrations in Week 5 loss

Panthers WR Robby Anderson didn’t appear to have much fun in the Week 5 loss to the Eagles.

Carolina Panthers wideout Robby Anderson hasn’t had a pleasant 2021 season thus far. So maybe we can’t blame him for blowing off some steam on Sunday.

After quarterback Sam Darnold completed his trifecta of interceptions on the offense’s last gasp of the afternoon, the sixth-year wideout appeared quite upset on the sideline.

And, again, can you blame him . . . ?

The throw, which was intended for Anderson while Carolina was chasing a three-point deficit, ended up in the hands of Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Steven Nelson. That essentially iced a 21-18 loss for the Panthers, their second straight after a 3-0 beginning to the campaign.

If not for a clutch 25-yard catch on third down just a few plays earlier, Anderson would’ve finished the day with one catch for five yards. Regardless, his numbers and impact are nowhere near where they should be, as he’s amassed just 179 receiving yards and one touchdown on 12 grabs through five games.
