WATCH: Panthers CB Jaycee Horn records 1st career sack in Week 11

Panthers CB Jaycee Horn chalked up the first sack of his NFL career on Sunday.

We already saw a career first in the first half of Week 11’s meeting between the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens—when 330-pound defensive tackle Bravvion Roy got in the way of a pass from Lamar Jackson for an improbable interception. And now, we’ve seen another.

Down 3-0 with just under 12 minutes left in the third quarter, the Panthers got themselves back-to-back sacks to regain possession. One came from linebacker Frankie Luvu—which accounted for his third over the past six quarters of play—and trapped Jackson and the Ravens back at their own 8-yard line.

The second was from cornerback Jaycee Horn, the first of his two-year NFL career.

Horn’s takedown of the elusive Jackson pushed Baltimore back to their 7-yard line and resulted in a three-and-out. The Panthers would turn their very next touch into three points—tying the game at three apiece off a 32-yard field goal by kicker Eddy Piñeiro.
