It seems like every week Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams does something that eye popping. Last week it was a 91-yard beast mode run against North Carolina. This week it took all the way until the fourth quarter for Williams to make that kind of play.
Yes, he had already scored two touchdowns on the day, but this one, his third was one that might make ESPN’s SportCenter’s top 10 plays of the day. Williams took a handoff from Jack Coan and ran 19-yards, through multiple defenders arms and although he fumbled before crossing the goal-line, he recovered the ball for the score. It boosted the Irish’s lead to 25-6 and after the successful two-point conversion, the Irish lead Navy 27-6.
