Already trailing 3-0 and having just came up empty after entering the red zone, Notre Dame had a huge challenge as Wisconsin faced a fourth-and-1 at the Notre Dame 23. Instead of kicking a field goal Paul Chryst and the Badgers decided to go for it which came as a surprise to nobody.
The Notre Dame defense rose to the occasion, getting into the Wisconsin backfield and stopping the Badgers short of the line to gain as Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa’s stock continues to rise.
